MISA mourns Prime TV Northern Province Journalist, Matias Chewe

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LUSAKA – MISA Zambia wishes to express its heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, management and staff of Prime TV and the Media fraternity at large for the untimely demise of Prime TV Northern Province based Journalists, Matias Chewe.

Matias was stationed at Prime TV Kasama Bureau until his passing in the early hours of yesterday at approximately 01:00 hours.

Prior to joining Prime TV newsroom, he served as a journalist at Crown TV in Mumbwa, where he distinguished himself through dedication and courage in the execution of his duties.

Throughout his career, Matias demonstrated exceptional professionalism, bravery, and an unwavering commitment to truth and justice. He covered stories that mattered to the people, often going beyond the call of duty to ensure that the voices of the community were heard.

His passing is a great loss not only to our institution but also to the journalism fraternity and the communities he faithfully served. Matias will be remembered for his integrity, humility, and passion for public-interest reporting.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives he touched. During this difficult time, we stand in solidarity with his loved ones and pray for strength and comfort.
