MISA mourns Journalist, Victoria Mubanga Mukupo

Victoria worked with MISA Zambia in the past, serving as a Media Monitor for Central Province where she contributed immensely to promoting ethical journalism and strengthening media standards in the region

LUSAKA – It is with profound sorrow that MISA Zambia joins the media fraternity in mourning the untimely passing of Ms. Victoria Mubanga Mukupo, a former staff member of KNC Radio who also served as a dedicated news reporter.

At the time of her passing, Ms. Mukupo was serving as the Public Relations Officer for the Prisons Foundation in Kabwe, a role in which she continued to exhibit her unwavering commitment to communication and public service.

She also worked closely with MISA Zambia in the past, serving as a Media Monitor for Central Province where she contributed immensely to promoting ethical journalism and strengthening media standards in the region.

MISA Zambia extends its deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the family of Ms. Mukupo, her colleagues at KNC, the team at Prisons Foundation and the broader media community who had the privilege of working alongside her.

As we come to terms with this devastating news, we pray that God grants comfort, peace and strength to her family and loved ones during this profoundly difficult time.

May the soul of Ms. Victoria Mubanga Mukupo rest in eternal peace. Her contributions to the media will not be forgotten, and her legacy will continue to inspire those who follow in her footsteps.
