ATI Coalition meets for advocacy planning

One of the objectives of the meeting was to strategize and plan how to obtain government commitment to implement the ATI Law

The Access to Information-ATI Coalition held an advocacy planning meeting on 31st January 2024 to strategize on how to develop strategies to push for the implementation of the ATI.

The objective of the planning meeting was to strategize and plan how to obtain government commitment to implement the ATI law and also come up with strategies as civil society organizations.

In December 2023 during the end-of-year press conference at Mulungushi International Conference Centre, President Hakainde Hichilema signed the ATI into Law, marking an historic action in the country.
