DW Akademie in collaboration with the Spaces of Solidarity coalition of Media Freedom Advocates offer five FOX Fellowships of 1,000 EUR (~ 1,100 USD) for activists, media professionals, media freedom and freedom of expression advocates to foster free expression in the SADC region by:
- implementing campaigns incl. calls to action
- conducting policy research and formulate policy recommendations
- creating targeted informational material (series of short videos, podcasts, posters, info sheets, etc.)
- designing art that speaks to free expression issues
We are excited to launch a call for applications for individuals and organisations in Southern Africa working in the field of free expression and media freedom advocacy. This call specifically focuses on fact-based advocacy, media skills, and innovation, inviting organizations to explore how policy dialogue around free expression issues can be shaped in novel ways.
