MISA mourns death of ZPS Deputy PRO

For Immediate Release
LUSAKA  – MISA Zambia is saddened by the death of Mr. Danny Mwale, who served as the Deputy Public Relations Officer at the Zambia Police Service (ZPS).
Mr. Mwale is reported to have passed away on Friday, 30th August 2024 in Lusaka after a short illness.
MISA Zambia will remember him for his immense contributions and engagements on matters of freedom of expression and for fostering dialogue between Zambia Police Service and the Media during our various engagement meetings and discussions.
Mr. Mwale was a friend of the media and his actions towards fostering a good working relationship with the media will remain his legacy and it is marked in the archives of this country.
We mourn with his family, the Zambia Police Service, and other media practitioners who have interacted with him. We wish his family God’s comfort during this difficult moment.
