The Media Institute of Southern Africa and Save the Children International invite entries for your child-focused journalism in one or more of the following five categories:
– Print news (750 words or less)
-Print feature (Between 750 words and 2500 words)
-Photography
-Radio documentary
-Radio News
To be eligible for the 2015 Awards, titles must have been first published in
southern Africa between 1 September 2014 and 30 September 2015. Entries
from all over SADC are eligible. Entries close at 5pm on Monday, 13 November 2015, so start preparing your submissions now!

You can download the entry form from http:awards//www.misa.org  and submit your
entries to childrensreportingawards@misa.org

The awards form part of MISA’s broader Children & The Media Project.
MISA attempts to create opportunities and safe spaces for the production
of children’s media, sensitise journalists on child rights, develop codes of
ethics for reporting on children’s issues and rights and promote fair,
honest and accurate reporting on the experience of childhood
